Passport scan
Scan of all passport pages including the entry stamp to Spain.
Application fee
Modelo 790 038 — €73.26. Generated via certificado digital and paid in cash or online.

Filled and hand-signed residence application form for international teleworkers.
Employment or service contract
Permanent or 3-year contract with the foreign employer or client (≥ €2,850/month).
Bank statements
Last 3 months of bank statements showing payments matching the contract.
Company registration certificate
Extract from the registry confirming the company has existed for at least 1 year.
Company remote work letter
Letter on company letterhead authorizing remote work from Spain and stating salary.
Degree certificate
University degree or equivalent qualification document.
CV
Resume with work experience. A LinkedIn export is acceptable.
Social security certificate
Proof of social security obligations (Form A1 or RETA registration).
Health insurance
Private health insurance with full coverage in Spain (employees) or RETA-based public coverage (self-employed).
Criminal record certificate
Police clearance from countries where you lived 183+ days in the past 2 years.
Declaration of no criminal record
Personal sworn declaration confirming no convictions in the past few years.
Power of attorney
Authorization for a representative with digital certificate to submit your application.
Declaration of entry
Required when entering Spain from another EU country (no entry stamp).
Proof of self-employed status
For self-employed applicants: proof of registration and tax payments for at least 3 months.

Where to submit
Where to submit the application in Spain
Applications from inside Spain are filed online through the Unidad de Grandes Empresas (UGE) using a Spanish digital certificate or via an authorized representative.
How to prepare documents correctly: assemble one complete PDF set per applicant, in the order listed in the checklist. Sworn translations must be issued by a traductor jurado registered with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Foreign public documents (criminal records, marriage and birth certificates, company registration extracts) typically require apostille first, then sworn translation.
Apply from Spain or through a consulate: applying from inside Spain through UGE usually grants a 3-year residence permit, while applying through a Spanish consulate abroad generally results in a 1-year national visa that is later converted to a residence card after entry.
